Our Lifetime Warranty remains in effect as long as you continue to have PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA service your reverse osmosis unit on a yearly basis. This warranty applies to the parts or equipment actually purchased from PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA, except routine maintenance service and parts. Any additional parts or equipment purchased from PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA and added to the system at a later date will also be included in the Lifetime Warranty. Specific coverage details apply depending on the system purchased.
To keep the lifetime warranty in effect you must have PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA perform a paid routine maintenance service on your unit at least once a year. A service call to rectify a problem covered by the warranty would not constitute a yearly service unless a maintenance service was performed (and billed at the normal rates) at the same time.
To arrange for the yearly service, you should telephone PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA to schedule the service call appointment. You are responsible for the costs of the service call labor and the cost of replacement filters and membranes/check valves.
Any lapse in yearly maintenance service or failure to purchase replacement filters or membranes/check valves as recommended by PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA would invalidate the lifetime warranty. Failure to pay PURE WATER OF CALIFORNIA for the service call labor, filters or membranes/check valves (unless specifically negotiated otherwise) will invalidate the lifetime warranty.
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the reverse osmosis and is transferable at our option, to any subsequent owner at the same location if the terms and conditions of the Lifetime Warranty have been met.
